AnointTech ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the VonBill application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By accessing or using VonBill, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account via Firebase Authentication, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided). You may also sign in using Google, Apple, or email/password.

2.2 Bill Data

Information you enter while creating bills — business names, addresses, line items, tax details, customer names — is stored in Google Cloud Firestore. This data is associated with your account and used solely to provide the Service.

2.3 AI Feature Data

When you use AI-powered features (logo generation, bill notes), prompts are sent to:

• Anthropic Claude API — for text generation (bill notes, locale-aware content)
• Stability AI — for logo image generation

Prompts contain only the data you provide for that feature. We do not send your full bill history or personal data to AI providers.

2.4 Usage & Analytics Data

We collect anonymized usage metrics (pages visited, feature usage, error logs) to improve the Service. This data cannot identify individual users.

• Manage your account
• Provide AI-powered features (logo generation, bill notes)
• Send transactional emails (receipts, account notifications)
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

VonBill uses cookies and browser local storage for:

• Authentication — Firebase Auth session tokens
• Preferences — language selection, theme (light/dark)
• Analytics — anonymized usage tracking

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers — Firebase/Google Cloud, Anthropic, Stability AI (as described above)
• Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or governmental request
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

We retain your account data and bill history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records).

Generated PDF files cached on our servers are automatically purged after 90 days.

We use industry-standard security measures including:

• TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access
• Encrypted storage at rest via Google Cloud
• Regular security audits

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

VonBill is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
